The Prieuré of Saint-Céols

Pierre et Christine Jacolin produce wines in the Menetou-Salon appellation.

Their cellars and wine-making rooms are located in the small village of Saint Céols.

The village first appeared around 1259 under the name Sanctus Celsus and was at that time a Benedictine priory founded by the Abbey of La Charité sur Loire– an off-shoot of the Abbey of Cluny.
